We will be distributing these questions broadly, asking producers, consumers, and those forging connections between them to answer them. The responses we receive will be used as a starting point for the Summit. **It is, therefore, important that you respond to the questions. We are asking you to please complete the survey even if you can’t attend the Summit. Download the survey here.

Working from the SWOT question responses, we will engage in a facilitated process to brainstorm ideas and solutions to existing challenges and threats. Together we will consider ways to build upon our strengths and capitalize on opportunities. We will identify policies research, training, tools, and resources needed to strengthen local and regional food markets. We will identify and engage other agencies, institutions, and organizations who are positioned to help implement the strategies identified and help us achieve identified goals. The information gathered at the Summit on Local Food- Local Markets will be summarized and integrated into a draft report and will be provided to regionally-based partners for comment and further input. Following the round of input from local partners, the Summit Report will be finalized and sent to all project participants and the agencies, institutions, and organizations identified as being appropriately positioned to implement strategies.
