NY Farms! Identify New York Products
Regional Food Campaigns of New York State
NY regional food campaigns serve to identify food and agriculture products unique to a particular region. Some campaigns work to brand product; therefore when truly shopping local, look for the seal of the local brand at retail outlets. A few campaigns work to connect farms and restaurants or farms and schools; still others work at general "Buy Local" educational campaigns.
The New York State brand is the PRIDE of New York which helps to position New York products in a global marketplace, regional brands help to position NY products with local New York markets. At this time the New York Regional Food Campaigns do not necessarily correspond directly to the regions of the I Love NY Tourism Promotional Campaign, but they are close.
